It’s way better than any Yugo.
It seats five adults, climbs grades with 5 adults on board, cruises at 65 mph, returns a fuel-economy of 60mpg, and costs only $ 2500.
So, clearly, it’s an engineering achievement, not a Yugo. !

Hurrah Tata Motors. Brilliant !!!
This is what the world needs. This is what the the United States needs. When gas is
6 dollars a gallon people will still be able to afford the fuel to get to work !

Make is dependable ! Make is fun and lets see if we can get the fuel economy
to 100 MPG’s !!!

Well Done . Looking forward to seeing it in the US !

I have seen the car on a news channel only and I think it looks cool and for that price what more do you expect. The mileage is great and it is EURO 4 compliant. So it is better than anything that you can get for 2.5 K $

Want. Vespa.

I only want one if I win it in a contest — they cost WAY too much for what they are, and aren’t easy to get parts for. Go Japanese or Taiwanese for quality, price and service!

Okay heres my take on it! Bring me one! No bring 4! Normally I say straight up American made. But for the price..A ride around town or the lake. A trip to the grocery. Or a kids first car. Bring it on. Sell it in the great ole USA. Sign me up for a few.

Half the price of the current world’s cheapest car – the Maruti 700, with similar specs. That is phenominal. This car is India’s Ford Model T.

BE A PART !!!! NOT BREAK APART
this is absolutly a copied idea of smart cars ..
i dont understand with so many talented car designer
why cant people make innovative cars.. and i think its
sad the car compnies follow a very self centered approach towards
design .. even after realising indian economy booming up ..
the companies are creating mess for the country ..
imagine the roads after 10 years in delhi ..
will be full of these cars .. and every person will have a
mobile and this car .. because at certain point of time ..
easy loans and easy installments will lead a car to everyone ..
why cant people think of the future for this country .
why cant we have the same speed of the way we manufacturing cars ,
into the common transport infrastructure collective by the automobile
companies with real time solutions they have to be serious in design
what they offer to public , the idea of india is to grow without any
painful yet an assured future which is comfortable and in the long run ..
think about the world running away from gas and carbon fuels ,,
and india is falling into the hands of the oil cpmpanies ,,
and desperation of every person who will drive the car in next 20 years
,,
its a clear and alarming , india need realise wake up call for those
sleeping ..
i knw it sounds like absultly absurd that some comments like unwanted
,,like this but the idea of being a innovator or designer holds
responsibility of creating a smart solutions

i disagree if this car is for villages just beacuse its cheap ..
the idea is still not comunicated
.. we cannot use the microscope to study stars and galaxies

be a part!!! not break apart …!!

“A Promise is a Promise”. This is what Mr. Ratan Tata said when he launched TATA Nano. He gave a perfect answer to people who said it’s not feasible to manufacture a car in Indian Rs. 1, 00,000.
The product TATA Nano is simply amazing. TATA Nano is believed to a mileage of 24kms for every liter of fuel, 8% smaller bumper to bumper distance than Maruti 800 (competitor in India) and still 21% spacious than Maruti.
This is possible only with TATA Group. The values and culture followed at TATA Group is one of the major factors for there products being so successful. I happened to use a product called “LEARN ENGLISH THROUGH LOVE AND ROMANCE” an Edutainment product developed by Espoir Technologies who’s Creative Director & Chief Mentor happens to be Ex VP TATA Group.
“My poor communication skills were the major obstacle for my growth in my software career. I frequently made errors in using English grammar and pronunciations, since I did my schooling in regional vernacular medium. After slogging it out for 10-12 hrs in office, reading those bulky and boring books was just not working for me. I got an opportunity to interact with some professionals from ESPOIR Technologies during their promotion campaign in my company and purchased ‘Learn English Through Love and Romance’. I never knew learning English was so easy and interesting. My career has taken a jumpstart since then”.
