In typical Nashville fashion, I dated his grandson for about half a second. He was very fond of his grandfather, it seemed.

I was very sad to hear this. For reasons only you and I know about, I can’t count how many times people asked me if he was my dad.:)

Aw, I didn’t know and that is too bad. He was also one of my father’s favorites (along with his work with Chet Atkins especially). I think I’ll have to blog about that later. RIP Jerry, sad to hear you’ve left us.
