First Human-Sheep Chimera

Okay, this is different:

Scientists have created the world’s first human-sheep chimera – which has the body of a sheep and half-human organs.

The sheep have 15 per cent human cells and 85 per cent animal cells – and their evolution brings the prospect of animal organs being transplanted into humans one step closer.

Professor Esmail Zanjani, of the University of Nevada, has spent seven years and £5million perfecting the technique, which involves injecting adult human cells into a sheep’s foetus.

Processing here. What do you think?

okay, i’ll take the easy one — Human-sheep chimeras: the New GOP!!

make it Democrats if you feel so inclined.

and sadly cynical of me i know, but there seems to be far too much sheep-like qualities in people already. the only diff seems to be is that their wool covers their eyes.

i imagine a day when instead of old couches and rusted cars littering fields and farms, their will be stacks of used clones whose innards have already been harvested.

jeepers, i think i need a vacation.

Jokes about folks trying to get the same results the old-fashioned way aside?

Wow … so we’ll all have a flock of sheep in the backyard? One with our heart, one with our liver, etc? I’m torn on this one ‘Coma – I hate the idea of people dying while they wait for a donor organ, but something about a sheep being grown for my replacement parts creeps me out.

Well, they may have gotten around the people against human cloning, but now they’re going to have PETA on their butts. Wait, wait…. let me redo that…. they’re going to have PETA on their bahhhhhhts. HeeHee

I know, I`m prejudiced in my view, and you know why ! If it can save live`s do it ! If you ever find yourself on a transplant/waiting list, you`re view will change, I`m sure. I was`nt born with wings, but I fly.
