I read all three Stephen King books that became movies that you list here..and I’ve gotta say the books are better.
I think part of it is that my imagination knows just how to pick out details and put them in my mind’s eye to scare the stew out of me…

Michael, I agree. In all honesty, a Stephen King book is always better than a movie. (Most times, books are always better than the movie although Rosemary’s Baby and the movie are almost identical.) One thing about doing just scary scenes this Halloween is that I could pick truly creepy scenes out of some movies that weren’t always great as a whole.

I watched the movie IT after seeing pictures of pennywise on youtube..most bits scared me but some was just a disapointment - after hearing that the book is good i shall get a hold of it and read it
